What Is The Whooping Cough?

The Whooping Cough can last for many weeks and is actually a very rare disease to get. The Whooping Cough can also have symptoms that are cold like such as: cough, running nose and  a mild fever. Often times some people mistake the Whooping Cough for a cold because of it.

Whooping Cough Treatments:

- Antibiotics are used depending on the level the whooping cough is at.

- Salt solutions

- Fluids

- Intubation

- Sometimes in order to recover hospitalization must be done.

- oxygen

- In order to get the right amount a food in sometimes a feeding tube is required.

Treatments for the whooping cough also change depending on how mild or severe your case is. If you have questions about it or if you think that you have a cold and it does not feel the same as a regular cold does or you have a cough that just goes on and on, you should get tested right away by your doctor.
