Soon after you breathe in allergen you will see the symptoms of allergic rhinitis developing within time of 1 to 2 minutes. This will continue for a period of 4 to 8 hours. Allergic rhinitis lasts for around 10 days after getting infected from it. Allergic rhinitis symptoms are:
- Soon after you wake up from the bed you will sneeze repeatedly for few minutes.
- Repetitive occurrence of sneezing and watering from the nose also known as rhinorrhea.
- Congestion of the nose.
- Itchy feeling in eyes, nose, ears and throat.
- Fatigue feeling all over the day.
- Swelling in the throat, tearing from the eyes, decrease in smelling power.
- Sinus headache and ear plugging are also signs of allergic rhinitis.
- Loss of energy from the body.
- Lack of sleep
- Formation of patches and dark circles below the eyes.
- Eyes become sensitive to light. Continuous swing in the mood.
- Breathing from the nose due to nose getting blocked.
- Sensation of pressure developing in the ears due to which you will feel reduction in hearing capacity.
- Thick yellow discharge from the nose continuing for 3 minutes once you inhale allergen.
