Pyrexia is when you have fevers that is not provoked by anything. Sometimes people who experience Pyrexia might think that they are coming down with the flu or either a stomach bug when they are not. There are not a a lot of known causes for Pyrexia but there are some. The ones known are listed below.

What might cause Pyrexia:

- Typhoid fever
- complications with surgery
- perazine
- allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis
- polyarteritis nodosa

Medications are used to treat Pyrexia and sometimes it might be fatal depending on what caused it and how high the fever is. If you are running a fever but do not feel anything else you should not just think that it is nothing and go on without taking it easy nor without calling the doctor because it could lead into something really serious if you continue to put it off.
