'Common Cold’ is a viral infection occurring in the upper respiratory tract. Headaches are major symptoms of common cold. It is caused due to the nasal congestion, as the mucus secretions are released in the nose which remains deposited blocking the nasal cavity. Headaches are common in cold and could be very severe restraining doing your normal activities and making you feel dizzy and uncomfortable. On should try some method or means whereby the mucus secretions are removed whereby the headache could be completely cured. Ginger tea and sleeping are some of the remedies which would help you. Also one can have foot massage and head compress following it. Drinking warm water in intervals, take in steam which is best means to cure headache due to cold. If the headache is severe one can use medication like painkillers but can have adverse side effects like, it might affect liver, cause gastrointestinal problems and ulcer. |
