- Try not to go in a crowded place unless it is required as the influenza virus spreads very easily. So avoid going in shopping centers, theaters etc during an outbreak. Stay away from the people who are coughing and sneezing frequently.
- Do not drink alcohol or smoke as they will make your resistance power less by directly affecting your respiratory system. This will make you more vulnerable to flu.
- Avoid going out in cold for a longer time as this will increase the chances of the infection.
- Also do not get physical with your wife or husband if he or she is already affected by flu especially avoid kissing.
- Keep yourself and the surroundings clean by washing your hands frequently with a soap and not just water.
- Reduce the stress level in your life. People are more likely to fall sick when they are under stress and tension. The mental imbalance will affect your body also making you more susceptible to flu. Try to relax and do regular exercise and meditation to calm your body.
