Ways To Handle The Flu Part Two

- Take hot showers and be in a bathroom full of steam. Make sure that you inhale the steam and moisture to help with your airways because they open up.

- Get the time off from work that you need in order to heal right. Do not assume that your boss wants you there if you have the flu. You'll be doing everyone a big favor if you stay home and recover from the flu.

- Have a lot of chicken noodle soup and add a few spices with it such as garlic.

- Get a humidifier and make sure that you vaporize the air and keep it very clean and moist. The air quality can really cause you to heal faster or either slow down the rate of your healing process.

- Try having nasal drops like the salt water saline drops or either a neti pot when your nose starts to bother you and cause problems.

- Having lozenges is another thing that can help with your throat and with the cough at the same time.

Do not be a complainer when you have the flu because being negative might make the conditions and symptoms seem worse than what they really are.
