Dristan Decongestant Nasal Mist is to be sprayed in the nose as directed.  Blow your nose prior to administering the nasal mist.  This will help with penetration of the medicine.  Keep your head upright and place the applicator just inside your nose.  Use caution and do not allow the applicator to touch the inside of your nose.  Squeeze the container and breathe in deeply a few times, allowing the medication to fully penetrate your nose.  Clean the applicator tip after each use and carefully replace the cap. 

Dristan Decongestant Nasal Mist should only be used as your doctor has directed.  Do not use more medication or more often than the amount indicated by your doctor.  Excessive use of the product may increase your nasal congestion.  Improvement in congestion is usually seen within three to five days of using the nasal mist.
