Dark urine can be because of the flu or it could be caused from either having liver or other problems. The reason why you might have dark urine is because of dehydration. It's very important that you drink plenty of juices and water while you are sick so you will not suffer from dehydration.

Dehydration Symptoms include but not limited to:

- dry mouth and tongue
- dark urine
- thirst
- rapid heartbeat and pulse
- muscle weakness and cramps
- confusion
- losing conscious
- urination problems
- skin wrinkles
- being light head
- eyes become sunken

When you start having these symptoms of dehydration it is really important that you get something to drink right away because it can even cause death if you do not treat dehydration. If you are sick with the flu take a bottle of water with you if you must go somewhere to avoid this from happening.
