Pneumonia is a very serious condition and can cause death if it is not treated. Sometimes even with treatment death can still happen. There are all kinds of medications to help with Pneumonia but sometimes no matter what you can still experience kidney failure, severe malnutrition and other illnesses or infection might happen as a result of Pneumonia.

When you have Pneumonia, you should always get a lot of rest, stay hydrated and have a lot of chicken soup. Staying warm is another thing that will help with your cough. If you are taking drugs and medications it might take a few days before the results start to show but if after a few days nothing happens and you continue to go downhill, you should contact your doctor and see about other treatments as soon as possible.
