Is The Common Cold Contagious? |
A cold can be contagious a couple of days right before the symptoms might actually start appearing. No one around might not even know that the person is sick and because the person has a cold it could cause people around them to get it. After four days with the cold you tend to not be as contagious. You might be some but not near as much. It is important for people to wash their hands out in public to help with prevention of the common cold but just because you wash your hands does not mean that you will not get the common cold. Keeping tissues with you at all times can really come in handy because when you blow your nose out in public and do not cover your nose, you are spreading germs all around. Another thing that you can do to help with not getting the common cold is making sure that you get plenty of rest and not get fatigued because being tired can weaken your immune system and cause you to be more at a risk with getting the common cold. Other things that you can do is watch after your weight and make sure that you are eating healthy. |
